Apopka has been toppling 10-pins and knocking on the bowling state title door almost every season since it won five consecutive FHSAA finals (2013-17) in a record-setting run. Is this Apopka's year to return to the throne? So far it looks that way with the undefeated Blue Darters crushing the competition in a season that was interrupted by Hurricane Ian but is back on track. Apopka stamped itself as a state favorite when it had a relative off day and still won the 12-team Kegel Training Center High School Challenge in Lake Wales.
